We receive numerous questions about trees, from pruning to diseases, and the services that we offer. Below you’ll find several of our most frequently asked questions as well as their answers:

Q:  Our insurance company recommended that we cut back some of our trees away from our house. Can you help us with that?

A:  Certainly. Tree trimming is an important way to keep your home and roof safe. Tree branches that touch your roof may allow insect access to your home, as well as leave your roof susceptible to damage from the branches in rough weather. We know the healthy way to cut your trees back so they can continue to grow and remain a beautiful feature of your landscaping.

Q:  We just purchased a lot to build on, and would like to clear off the dead trees, and figure out which ones we can keep on the property. We need your help!

A:  Absolutely. Give us a call. We have the assessment tools necessary to help you decide which trees are healthy enough to stay on your property and which ones will be in your building line and need to be removed. We have the tools and machinery necessary to clear off your lot, and make it easier to get going on the building of your new house.   

Q:  Are estimates free?

A:  Yes,and we would also be happy to make a appointment to come out to look at them with you.Normally we can give an estimate within one week.

Q:  Do I need to be there when the estimate is given?

A:  No,when it comes to removals all I need is a description over the phone.When it involves  trimming a lot of times it is beneficial for the customer to be there to go over certain limbs that might need to be removed. 

Q:  Is stump removal included in the estimate ?

A:  Stump grinding is not included in estimates unless stated and clean up is also extra.I usually like to recommend having someone else do the clean up.

Q:  Do we have climbers if the tree can not be reach by a bucket truck ?

A:  Yes,we always have very experience climbers working on our jobs.Our customers deserve the best we can give them.

Q:  How can I save money on tree work ?

A:  We find some customers can clean up brush and wood themselves and can save up to 50% of the cost.Also just leaving the firewood on site and we clean up the brush can save you a lot of money.

Q:  Is Gebhard & Son Tree Care insured ?

A:  Our company is fully insured.We have liability to person and property in the amount $1,000,000.And workers compensation on all our empolyees.We can also provide you with a certificate of insurance if needed.
